The overdrive won't kick in anymore in my 1999 chevy Monte Carlo Z34

I do not believe you have OD on your trans but is a 4 speed automatic with a lock up converter. Did you loose your fourth speed or the feeling over 45mph of the converter locking up. Two major differences which will effect the diagnosis.Shift the car manually and see what is missing and let me know
