Wrong the sensor is part of the hub assembly. See pic.
There have been some problems with the harness to the sensor
so that should be checked also.
more techincial would be: The LR wheel speed sensor circuit is as
follows:
Terminal A, TAN wire, supply voltage from EBCM terminal A5
Terminal B, ORG wire, sensor signal to EBCM terminal A6
1. Take the electrical connector off the left rear wheel bearing/hub
assembly and then inspect to make sure there's no problem with
the connectors mating (bent pins, pushed in sockets, etc.).
2. The resistance across the wheel speed sensor itself should be
virtually nil.
3. Verify a minimum of 8V on the TAN wire from the EBCM with
key on.
4. With key off, take the electrical connector off the EBCM (that's
the box with two brake lines going in and four out, below the brake
master cylinder) and then verify each of the two wires that go to
LR for continuity and short to ground, to voltage, or to each other.
Hope this gives you some information you need.
