Question type: General

Hello again!
Quick question... My 95 Astro van has a 4.3L V-6. It runs well enough on regular gas.
What's your experiance with buring midgrade or premium gas in a 4.3L?
Thanks again for all the help.

Regular 87 octance gas should do it. The higher the octance rating means not that its more better for your car in fact its just for different compression engines. So the higher the octane the harder it is to burn. Thats why higher compression engines need to run higher octane gas. If you were to use lower octane it would burn faster and could cause detnation. Hope this helps :D
