Gas gauge & cruise control

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1994 4dr XLT, 2WD - After getting car back from mechanic both the fule gauge & cruise control did not work - they were fine before. Do they have a common fuse or other component that may be the cause? If so how can I find & check them? The car was in for repairs to power windows, A/C & engine tuning.
Many thanks, Nick

Follow up to "Gas gauge & cruise control" ----- I discovered this evening that the cruise control does work fine but the light does not come om in the dash panel. Perhaps there is an issue in the dash. Any ideas please?
