Front billet grille

Asked by pwojo1 Jan 14, 2010 at 09:22 PM about the 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible RWD

Has any one ever installed any of these new grilles? The directions received along with the product is poor. They make me believe that the old grille must be removed and then the new billet grille is put in its place? I am not sure? If anyone has installed one; it would help!  I bought new on ebay, but they do not provide a phone number.

You don't mention what year your trying to install them into, I also bought a billet grill for my '03 but found the instrutions very unclear. I'll go out in the shp tomorrow and see if I have the information I gathered. I'll be happy to forward it to you if it's applicable.
