Noise in 2006 Toyota Corolla

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla with some weird behavior. First, when I turn
right (and ONLY right), I hear something that sounds like liquid spilling onto a
hot frying pan. Kind of a splash sizzle. The faster I'm going, the more noise I
hear. It occurs even immediately after starting. I also have some moisture in
the drivers side footwell. In the past, I got debris that blocked the
condensation drain pan from the AC unit, and had a similar symptoms. (I live
in Texas, so the AC is on about 7-8 months of the year). Is this the same
thing again?

Sop up the liquid with a white paper towel. If it's clear, yep, you have to unclog the drain. If it's green or orange, you have a leaky heater core. As for the steering, have you checked the fluid? It may be low.

Thanks for the suggestion. There is some liquid when I park. Can I do this test with that fluid?

You're talking about the liquid that's getting on the carpet? Or under the car? Test them both, but we're mainly worried about inside the car.
