Clicking noise when I turn my steering wheel to the left

Whenever I am driving and I turn my
wheel left, I am hearing this kind of
clicking sound. I've done some
research and most websites say it
could be the right side CV joint. If it
is, would anyone know how much
and how difficult it is to repair
myself?

Replacing the CV joint will require you to remove the front wheel hub/bearing assembly which requires an impact wrench. Unless you have a compressor and impact wrench, I personally wouldn't go after it. I have attempted to break the axle nuts free without an impact and ended up breaking wrenches..
Any idea how much it would cost to be repaired?
Honestly, I'm not a good source for pricing out work at a garage. I do all of my own work ;) I do know they are pricey as their labor rates are pretty high. Larger shop = larger overhead. But what I would recommend is that you get a few estimates from different shops so you can get the best price. Also check this link. It's eeeeaaaasy fix. Have someone hold break get a breaker bar ( a good one) and some bp blast an snap that nut no problem. Hammer axle ot replace it. DONE.
