1994 Aerostar wont start after being vandalized.

Asked by GuruD53N4B Feb 24, 2024 at 11:27 AM about the 1994 Ford Aerostar XL Passenger Van RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Vehicle was vandalized and someone stole the four relays near the driver side firewall.  Replaced the relays, and it still will not start.  I've checked to see if anything else was stolen.  Everything seems to be in place.  Ideas?

Double check the placement of the new relays and that they're the correct relays for your vehicle. Just because a relay will plug in doesn't mean the internal circuit is the same. You may have been sold the wrong relay(s). Also, if the vehicle has a security system it may have been activated during the vandalism and or theft attempt. Lastly, make sure none of the wiring under the hood or under the dash was cut or unplugged. Hope that helps! Jim
