Power lock issue

Asked by Proe0229 May 19, 2018 at 04:18 PM about the 2006 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

No remote. When in the car with all doors locked, push drivers power lock
switch to unlock. Only drivers door unlocks. Don’t hear a sound from any
other doors. When in car and all doors are unlocked, push power lock switch
to lock. All doors lock.

It's a common problem, Something in the Car fusebox/Computer burns out. Toyota answer is to change out the fusebox/computer at the cost of $700-900. I developed a fix for it without having to replace the car computer or even having to remove it. You can find it listed on Ebay if you put 280735700457 into Ebay's search bar. You can click on me and see that I have 100% Feedback on my solution. If you have any questions, click on Contact Seller in the listing.

It shows that this solution is for the Camry 2002 to 2006. My 2011 Avalon has the same problem, but I expect that your answer does not with newer equipment. Any suggestions for newer cars?
