Seat belt replacement inquiry.

Asked by migration_chebellama... Sep 21, 2012 at 12:29 AM about the 1986 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am looking to replace both seat belts in my 86 vette because the ones I have are junk. I need a 3 point retractable type seat belt that looks like the pic as shown below. Is there any other car that would have a similar type of seat belt assembly? I might have to go shopping at the junk yard.

There are several good Corvette restorers out there you could look into but I would try to look at companies like Corvette Central, and other Corvette Parts suppliers that are online. Besides that, I think that the Camaro may have the same seat belt array..then, back to the junk yards?? I got a set off ebay once for a friends Vette
