I have a 84 vette and the digital dash lit up and then it goes dark.if I pound on top of dash it will light up.can I just remove the front dash to check connections?or any other details that might help?

Same question about Digital dash on 84 vette.the dash will sometimes light up but it then it looks like it it going through a program.I had one person respond and he said check the dimmer. My 1986 Vette is having a problem all of a sudden when I start it it runs really.high, 2400 rpms. And it doesn't go down. The only thing I have done is spray some WD40 on the accelerator cable.
