If running before the work,it want be the oil change that is doing this, take the fuel filter back off, turn key, should see fuel and hear fuel pump,if not, fuel relay or fuel pump may be bad.

is the fuel pump in the engine or in the tank? early cars have the pump on the engine.

You didn't say if it was turning over or not. If not check the wiring to the starter. Check all the wiring to the ignition. Are you getting spark at the plugs? Coil wire on? Do as advised above and see if your fuel pump is pumping fuel. Did you perhaps short a wire, frying the computer? check fuses. Remember, you need fuel, spark, and air to get an engine to run. remove one, and your engine is dead. Dash lights come on? If the engine turns over, it is fuel or spark issues.
