I dont know alot but it sounds like your charge wire is not hooked or broken from your alt. If your alt. is new and your old one was doing the same -its not the alt . Does the small wire have 12 volts. going to it when the key is on ? Like I said I dont know alot , just on some old stuff .But if the alt does not have12 volts on the small its not going to charge ..
