i just purchased a 78 corvette L45 ann. edition the car color is white could this be the origal color and can someone tell me what ever info they think i may need to know about this car thank you rob

Hello streetbobrob-- In 1978, all the Corvettes produced had silver anniversary emblems on the nose and read deck. White was indeed an available color. Two special editions were produced. For an extra $399 you could get the "Silver Anniversary" paint pacage which was silver metallic on top and charcoal silver on the lower parts. For a lot more money you could have had the Indy Pace Car replica, which was black on top over silver below and included red accent striping.
