Whats private seller

Asked by Paullexus Mar 27, 2019 at 07:41 PM about the 2007 Lexus RX 350 AWD

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi
My car shows up as private seller. What does
that mean and does that make my sales
slower?

Your site doesnt give a single seller to me
though its listed for so long.  Does that mean,
you don't have enough relevant coverage and
others do? Or do you wanna charge me more
to give me more sellers, seems so?

Private seller only means that you are NOT a car dealer. If you are an actual car dealer and have a dealer license, you should contact CarGurus via the 'Help' link at the bottom of the page.

If you price your private sale car with dealer prices it will show up as overpriced which will make it sell slow.
