what is the difference between a Japan assembled and a USA assembled 2000 RX300

I have a 2000 Lexus RX 300 that was assembled in Japan.
In mid 2000 I've been told Lexus started manufacturing in the USA, and
there is a difference between the two

The fit and finish of the Japanese unit will be better.

Toyota only started manufacturing the RX outside Japan in 2003.
