What will make my car not want to move?

Asked by briana May 09, 2020 at 09:49 PM about the 2000 Lexus RX 300 FWD

Question type: General

I got my rotors and brakes changed on my rear
end. When I attempted to test drive my car
afterwards, my car felt like it was stuck when i was
trying to reverse. I have to push the pedal almost all
the way down to move, and it makes a small
rubbing noise from the tire, what could this be???

If a shop did it call them first before driving it again. If they drum brakes then the hand brakd may need adjusting. Is there alot of tension on the hznd brKe levrr

If they are disc the caliper pins may need some brake lube grease so the caliper body can retract. Best to take, the wheels off and has someone apply the brakes to see if the calipers are moving in and out. Hope this helps otherwise check out YouTube 4 brake pad and rotor change on you're kind of car to check you did everything right.
