how can find out history  did title history no help .I know with history car is worth more money.car is 396 big block all options,side pipes knock off teak wheel 4 speed

What type of history you looking for? The vin should tell you the options you have on the car. If it is original and it has these options, you have an expensive ride. Check the outside of the gas tank to see if there is an order sheet there. Are there any badges on the door posts? Paint and other options may be coded there. Go on line an check the vin number to see what is coded in the car's vin. GM may have the work sheet but with the move to Ky, and poor record keeping, the order sheet may not be found. Does the exhaust have GM part numbers on them?
