I just replced timming belt water pump cap rotors wires plugs cause the bear went bad on the fan pully, on 1991 Ls 400 got it all back to gether and dam it must be out of time. I was really careful though with the wires and thebelt every mark is right on ? Any one have a glue what else could go wrong??

starts but it backfires backfires through manifold wondering if it is a sensor or timing out

Really sounds like timing or misplaced plug wires (hopefully). Go back and triple check your plug wires.

do you possibly have a firing order diagram by chance and then i can double check wires

also do you know where abouts the timing marks on the block are that the camshaft marks align to
