can the "guts" from the one I bought be put in to the casing of the old one?

Asked by Guru9Y1J7M Feb 04, 2021 at 11:56 PM about the 1997 Lexus LS 400 RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Lexus transmission crapped out. I bought another one with the same model
number but had different clips so it could not be installed to the vehicle. My
question is can the "guts" from the one I bought be put in to the casing of the
old one?

1 Answer

Absurd. It would be easier to rebuild the one you have.
