Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Own 1997 lexus 400. Notice car would stop while driving it, so i had triple AAA
put in new battery, 4 days ago. Car is still stopping and/or will not immediately
start up. What should i now have checked?

1 Answer

Took it back to my mechanic and he discovered i needed to replace the air control valve. From what i understand the engine was not receiving the proper air supply and that caused my car to keep turning off. Had it replaced and so far (just got it back 10/23/19) the car has been smooth sailing.
