Why would there be no power to car at all

Well i had brake lights one night all i had no interior no push button light on the start button, next day i have nothing. Tried a jump and still an still not even a light for anything, i guessing either a bad ground or the main fuse cause it ran great up untill it was parked

I did couldn't even get one of the push button lights to work for the inside... wonder if its got like a safety feature for it for something incase it has like a power surge or something... i also thought maybe the key fob batt was dead cause it had been getting weak, put a new batt in the fob and still did nothing and i dont thing u have to reprogram them do you?

My battery was completely dead for some odd reason, i have had no problem before with it, battery says its 11/17 and i had car 6 months almost... drove it from OH to WV twice now and the last trip was recently drove a couple times after and no lights or warning signals or anything, then puf it just deader then hell, used a screw driver to hold on one terminal and touch other quickly and nothing at all... weird! Guess ill have to check alt. To
