Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hey guys,
I'm days away from possibly purchasing a car from
a private owner. The car is a 2008 Lexus is250 with
151,000 miles on it. Is this to many miles for this
type of vehicle. And how often should spark plugs
be replaced, Thanks in advance.

Too many miles? Not necessarily. That all depends on how well it was taken care of, how many miles you plan on driving and the cost.

I don't plan on putting to many miles on it however I do work maybe 20 miles from home so my commute to and from work will be about 40-45 miles. The asking cost for this vehicle is 6k.

Nope, don't get it. I bought my 08 is250 with 100k miles on it for 100k miles and it was in great condition with all recorded history and oil changes when due. So I would have to say I think you could get one cheaper but up to u

Sorry for the miss info. I bought my 08 lexus is250. 6 speed manual for 4k with 100k miles on it. Clean inside and out with all service done as recommended. So in my opinion don't buy it unless they drop the price and they took care of the cars engine. If u like it though and don't mind spending the cash then I think its a great car and I love mine. Hood luck
