Looking at 1985 IROC Camaro with1,600 original miles on it. Has 3" of free play in steering wheel. What would cause this and what is the fix

85 was a crappy year along with 86. 88 is when they got cool. 1600 miles and the steerings jacked up? doesntake much sense

dammit. i wasnt done. how does it have slop? turning the wheel or like shaking it?
