have a 1988 iroc 350ho that needs a rebuild or a crate engine. my question is, if i wish to reuse my TPI,what crate engine could i use. was looking at a fast burn 385or a zz4. thanks steve

if youre doing an engine swap dump the tpi. its very restricting. otherwise do a rebuild an beef up the tpi system

chase is right it would take a lot of work to get the tpi to breathe enough. however there are rebuild kits that include injectors and and a high flow manifold and a chip. it's out there I just don't know where. I haven't had a camaro in years but you should be able to get your hands on a turnkey 383-5 with the ramair just start looking in the backs of "superchevy" mags for sellers and shippers and call em up and ask most times they will be willing to help you put together a package that will suit your needs
