Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I asked earlier about 89 camaro not getting fire.  Someone recommended trying to test the fuel pump. I did...and it is still pulling like it is getting enough air to it to push fuel through...but even when I spray starter fluid in there it still isn't getting FIRE to it.  Anyone got a recommendation.  I am going to try the actual coil button under the distributor cap and rotar button.  Where the wires are but if that doesn't work anyone got any other recommendations. THanks

It sounds like spark is the problem. I would replace the distributor cap, rotor, and check the coil. You cant go wrong from there if spark is the issue. Cheap parts, easy fix PS, dont get the wires mixed up when you change the cap. Swap from the old cap to the new cap one at a time
