Deposit not returned from dealer

Depending on the fine print….you may have lost the deposit money. Never put money down as a deposit unless your absolutely sure your buying the vehicle.
This is a problem. Read your paperwork carefully. Some places (States) allow a certain time limit to back out of a major purchase, such as a house or vehicle, other places do not. In my State it's three days. You can also contact your local Office of Consumer Affairs who will be able to advise you on this. Good luck to you! Jim
Message CarGurus about this and they might get involved. Otherwise, if you put down a deposit on a car and then changed your mind, read the paperwork/receipt you got to determine if this is refundable or not..... Never, and I mean never trust a USED CAR DEALER..... If all else fails, contact the Bureau Of Automotive Repair in your states Attorney General's office to report this and they might get your deposit back.
