Power steering & windows shorted on Toyota Allion 2008

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi Everyone,
So I was attempting to replace the radio in my Toyota Allion but must've shorted
some pins together. The electric windows and power steering no longer work. I
have checked the fuses in the engine bay and none seem to be broken. I'm lost
for what else to check. Any idea?

I believe that we all are experiencing some problems with all Toyota Allions. My central locking system was not working and I changed the multiplex box which is located under the glove compartment and now the central locking system is working again. I have been trying to get my gas guage to work and I can not find what has caused it stop. Many other owners of the 2001 to 2007 model are getting the same problem. I am trying to get the schematic diagram for the ZZT240 model (Automatic 2004 year of manufacture) so that I might be able to help other owners. Your problem might be a relay or a module but you can try the following: 1. Are your windows only working from each door or not working at all? If you have disconnected the battery on your car then you have to reprogram each door window at a time. That is, move the switch on each door up and down a number of times until the window is moving automatically. 2. If that does not work, then proceed to step #3 3. If your battery is draining, please remove the fuse which controls the radio and AC. I have tried this and my battery stopped draining. 4. Get a schematic wiring diagram and try to trace the fault to the power steering. my email is : palleyne2023@gmail.com so that we can communicate further on your issue. I am trying to get my gas guage issue resolved also.
