Yes, Bob, that does seem to be the way things work with dealers who advertise here. I personally would put all of them on a do-not-deal-with list..... Recommendation to this buyer. If you're getting played with, just walk away. They will pull you back and give you anything you want. If the deposit was a check or electronic, you can cancel it. If cash and they try to hold it, contact the Bureau Of Automotive Repair in your state's Attorney General's office. And than there's always small claims court. It's easy and you WILL win.

Try googling the VIN and the ad might pop up. Hope that helps! Jim
