I have a 2002 c230 kompressor. I was driving the car back from a 2000 mile trip...and just as I pulled off the highway in my home town... it lost all acceleration. It would idle..but when I hit the gas pedal nothing would happen. I have since changed the crankshift position sensor...the MAF... cleaned the throttle body. It now starts and idles for a about 5-7 seconds...then seems to lose the fuel and stalls. It still doesn't accelerate...I hit the gas pedal and nothing happens.

might try having the fuel pressure tested.

1988 MBZ 560sel, just replaced idle control valve, now it won't hold idle, continues to have difficulty starting (usually 4 tries), replaced dead battery (wouldn't hold a charge), am now considering fuel pump relay replacement. BTW, ABS light is on, and the SRS light pops on briefly when I enter the car. Also, the radio was coming on when you turn off the car. Could something as simple as the overload relay cause these widespread problems? 4 Answers

I have a 2000 Mercedes Kompressor that sat outside all winter. I started it two days ago after replacing the battery but the car only starts and idles, when I press the gas pedal down nothing happens it just stays idling with no acceleration. I put a can of Heat and some fuel injector cleaner in the gas tank, but it is still doing the same thing. Any suggestions? 3 Answers
