You can cut your bump stops out. but i feel like you need so really hard struts because you should have about 5-6in before you start to hit your bump stops. But if you are going to go with a harder strut just save your money and drop it on some coils and cut the bump stops out a bit.
a 4 inch drop is to much,should have went with a 3 inch drop,you can cut the bump stops off,but if you do get ready for a harder bump,struts wont change it.
4 in isnt to much for that car, he just went and got a soft spring or maybe it has started to sag already. but the money would be better spent is he just got some coils and cutting his bump stops.
4 inch is a bit much for a focus get stiffer suspension the ride will get bumpier but thats a trade off with a lowered car cause u dont want tho whole car bottoming out
With for.inches it puts everything out of wack. Need to do wheel alignment for one. Two the castor will be to hard to adjust. Three the shocks will have to be so hard it will rattle your teeth to bits not alone speed bumps. Your tyres would last 5 minutes...
Man im like 3in off the ground in my A4 right now, he just need to run some coils that ride right. Also they are called tires* and its also four*. but ya he wouldnt kill his tires that fast as long as he doesn't drive like a dick. But here's my big question where did you find 4in drop springs for a Focus? i have looked and made a few phone calls and still cant find them.
well they are a set of coil overs that will drop it up to 4 inches the back rides fine but the front does not i put the springs where they need to be front and back spring rates are the same i have taken the bump stops out and tried it same as with them in still bottoms out and the tires havent started to wear any different than they did at stock height i also have the front springs set higher now trying to stop some of the problem and it didnt seem to help any
Well big thing go get an alignment like Joel said before you kill yourself. two go to where you got your coils and get a harder spring that will keep you from bottoming out. that should fix everything for you. And sorry Joel didnt know you where from over there that works out better. lol Tyres it is.
also your going to have lots of neg camber wear being that low so get ready to change out tires a lot.
