Ship car or Fly and Drive back?

Asked by ZachCrane Mar 24, 2019 at 09:40 PM

Question type: General

The specific color and trim I want it located at a dealership almost 400 miles away.  I have my local dealer calling them to discuss trade but if it ends up costing more than the same car they have on the local lot in a different color is it better for me to negotiate a price with the dealer 400 miles away and fly there on a $110 ticket and drive it back?

All in what you want. I've flown 1400 miles to pick up a car and drive it back. Made it into a 3000 mile 8 day vacation. The beauty about cars is there will always be another one if the one you want doesn't work out.
