'05 dodge quad cab serpentine

'05 dodge quad cab serpentine belt shredded and wrapped around everything, and oily substance is now everywhere. All the pulleys spin freely? Any thoughts as to the cause or damage it caused?

If the pulleys are all lined up properly,then the only things I can think of that may have caused the belt to do this would be either,some object got between the belt and pulleyfrom the highway,(rocks,road debris,etc),some oil or contaminant got on the belt causing it to slip,heat up,or fly off the pulley,or even a badly discharged battery can sometimes cause this.The other thing I can think off is a stuck tensioner,the pulley that keeps the belt tight.
