Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 audi a6 quattro and
sometimes when I put my car in drive and
then I press on my gas pedal my engine will
rev up loud like im going fast but I'm really
not and I accerlate slow. Like I could be
going 20 mph and it will rev up really loud
and then I would start to lose accerlaction.
Why does my car do this is because of the
air filter ?

No not air filter. Start by checking transmission fluid. Sounds like a transmission problem one way or another
