Read your manual, if it calls for regular unleaded, use regular unleaded, if it wants premium, use premium. If its a flex-fuel, then it doesn't matter.
You are wasting money if it doesn't require premium....
YOU SAID ... WHAT HAPPENED>>>>DID SOMETHING HAPPEN?/ ANYWAY I USE THE BEST GAS/GRADES ....STEAK OR HAMBURGER... PS..WHAT ENGINE??WHERE DO YOU LIVE??DO YOU RUN IT HARD?? 97 IS GOOD LOWER IS ALSO OK..
Run a "Top Tier" gasoline at the octane rating recommended by the manufacturer. Do a Google search for "Top Tier Gasoline".
And where can you get 97 Octane?
PUT A CHIP IN IT... GET A DRUM OF 117 AT THE SPEED SHOP...HOW DID WE GET TO THIS POINT ..RUN 94...

Hi Jim, you are absolutely correct....it won't hurt anything in your engine.... just your wallet.... Fuel is the most expensive thing people put in their vehicles... Over time this really adds up... If it doesn't require premium, there's no reason to use it and you nor the car will ever know the difference. There's no real performance bonus from the higher grade. Again, lost money...
