Starting problem
I'm having some issues with my 1984 F150xlt not
starting up at random times. It will run's fine then I
shut it off to when I get back in it to start it up, it
won't start up. I thought it might have been the
starter but I went to the Auto parts store they
tested it and it turned out to be fine. The weird part
is when I put the starter back on, I did nothing but
hooked it back up and reconnected the power wire
to the battery terminal. For the hell of it I tried to
start it again- and it fired up. I thought to myself the
next time it doesn't start I'm just going to
disconnect the power wire from the battery and do
nothing else but to reconnect it. Today my truck
did not start and I did just that, and it worked.
What is going on for this to be happening?
