I have a 1998 Pontiac sunfire it died and
won't restart I starting with Ching fuel and
spark both good replaced fuel filter
dropped gas tank to ck for possible trash
in pump cked fuel pressure it was 41 psi
cked injector pulse all good cked
compression all cylinders in normal range
cked plugs all good where would I go from
here if it jumped a couple teeth on timing
would I get correct compression on all
clylinders I had one code cked that it was
fine and it wouldn't make it not run anyhow

Sound like everything is going on to make this run, but a crankshaft sensor would be holding it back. And what was the code? It always helps to know.

The code was Po 108 map sensor I don't think that would make it not run I did ck the wiring to sensor that's good I pulled vacuum on sensor and voltate changes.If crankshaft sensor was bad wouldn't I not get spark
