You should save up cash and buy a cheap car. With no credit you're likely to get high interest rates and bad terms on a loan. Then get a low limit credit card and use that to buy the gas for your cheap car. Pay it off each month and overtime you'll build your credit. Save the money you would have been spending on a car payment and before too long you'll have a downpayment and a little bit of credit to get a slightly better car.
