How do I check the transmission fluid in 2004 grand am

Engine to operating temp. running in park, neutral, and pull the stick and look at the bottom of it. Level is marked.

Where is the stick? Can't find it anywhere.

Normally it is on the left side looking at the motor, in the back toward the fire wall, looks almost like the dipstick for engine oil. The top of the stick is colored, red or yellow.
