I just overhauled my Toyota pick up 94 with engine 22r-e. the problem now is that the engine shuts off by it self could it be a sensor?

If it crank,s and run,s for just a little,you may need to check the fuel pressure,may be bad fuel pump.

I have a 1987 Chevy Pickup with a crate engine. I start it and it runs for about 15 -20 seconds and then shuts off. I have replace the air intake hoses, fuel lines, fuel filter. When it was turned on then started to idle low i dumped gas into it and it shut off immediately. Could it be getting too much gas? Would that mean the carb is clogged possibly? 4 Answers

My car started sputtering when I was driving and just died. I was told by the tow truck driver it could be the fuel filter so I changed that. Car started and when it warmed up it shut off. 9 Answers

Was told it could be the catlyletic being clogged. Changed that also. Still starts and shuts down when warm. I don't want to keep guessing and replacing parts. Can u help?
