Have it scanned yet again, to see if something new has been detected or one of the 'fixes' didn't work. What codes did you get? If it's a long list, forget it, can't do through a dozen

Had it rescanned and same codes keep showing up. 2 emissions and 1 transmission

I have an 04 with the dreaded 2.7 engine. the engine light is on and giving a code for the crank sensor. it has been replaced...twice. the light is still on and they can't even reset it. 1 Answer

I've tried 3 times to erase the code. The light does not go off and I can't get an inspection.

Hello, I have a 2006 Ford taurus SEL 3.0. Thew check charging system indicator comes on. The red battery light comes on after about 15 seconds after startup. If the battery is strong it does not come on but after a few starts the battery weakens and the light and warning come on. I have replaced the battery connections and the Mega fuse.Checked fuse #26.It is good and the auto parts store says the alternator is pumping out 14 volts. I'm stumped 9 Answers
