How do you find a vacuum leak for a 94 gmc 2500? My truck possibly might have one, it whistles and almost stalls at red lights. Idals around 300 rmp.

You will have to look and listen for it. Can also carefully spray some injector cleaner around the hoses and listen for a change in the engine sound. When the sound changes from the spray you are getting close to the leak.

My 94 gmc Sierra 2500 lost power recently and now has a weird whistle sound coming from the engine, but only when I'm in drive driving. It almost sounds like a turbo winding up. My truck don't have 1. 3 Answers

I Have A 07’ Yukon SLT. And I been Having battery drainage problems lately.. it will be working Fine than one minute I while get back in it to drive and it will be Dead! Get a jump, it comes back on and be fine for weeks than one day it just dies again? Not sure what’s wrong? But what I did find out is that the owner before me had Speakers hooked up and the loose Wirer's are still running under my seats and in my truck the other end of the wiRers that ran to the speaker is just thier live wirers with nothing hooked to it? I have a 92 e-150 with a 5.0 engine. I recently changed the alternator and since then my gas mileage has dropped drastically!i have noticed that between the smog pump and alternator is a canister about 3" in diameter. There is a vacuum boot coming off the bottom of it with a red vacuum tube that is broken. I have searched tirelessly trying to figure out where it is supposed to go but i can find nothing! When i discovered the tube it was pointing straight up the passenger side of the engine towards the hood. It is about 7 inches long at the break point. Can any one help?
