I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty that has about 136,000 miles on it. It has received every required servicing including and oil and filter change every 3600 miles. Right now, between servicings I have to put in 1 to 2 quarts of oil. I have asked my service representative, Jake at York Jeep about it and he says that it is just because it is an older car. I have talked to a couple mechanics, who basically said "that's crap" and that if my car has received all its servicings this should not be happening. I have a 2004 Cadillac CTS with 161000 miles on it. The repair issues (computer malfunction and catalytic converter failure) will be around $3000 to repair. I just bought a new car and was going to sell this Cadillac to a friend for $2500 but the repairs are more than its worth to sell. Should I scrap it? Fix it and lose money? Any advice? 1 Answer

I have a Saturn Manual 2007 Vue. In the AM clutch pedal flops to floor and cant shift until I turn car off ...put it into gear and pump clutch alot to get air going through. Then I can drive but stick feels stiff. I was told transmission had to be removed to get to the slave cylinder to fix. Over 1000.00 Can I try bleeding the system to see if there is a way I can avoid this cost?? Car has 170, 000 miles and I bought it 6 months ago. 14 Answers

Can it be something other than the Slave Cylinder? No visible leaking or drop in brake/clutch fluid. But a swollen cap on clutch resevoir and fluid is dark.

Hi, My 2005 Honda Accord has died twice in the last week for no reason. Last Monday while going to leave work it wouldn't start and I didn't leave anything on, I had a colleague jump it (battery is only 4 months old by the way) and was able to drive normally until yesterday when I got in my car and again it wouldn't start. This time I got out and while looking for a friend to jump my car I got in and for some reason it just started normally and all the electronics turned back on.
