I have a 2005 Honda Civic 5 speed manual. I have no steady heat in the car. Abit of heat and then cold air starts blowing. This was happening especially when the cold is not moving. Biu it has gor worse. I have had the heater core cleaned%2C replaced the thermostat and checked the coolent level. Still on heat and if it does come it is very little and it does not last for more than a few minutes. My temp. gauge at times keeps going up to hot and it stays there for about 10-20 secs and then comes down to the midway mark. This happens every two or three days. 2 Answers

I have a 2001 Caravan and it keeps running for over a minuet or two when key is turned off .. Normally it will start & run fine ... But lately it will start and run as if it is runnig barely on 3 cylinders.. I wait about 5 minuets . It starts and runs like a champ again until I have to shut it off and it keeps running . So I tried bumpping the key a few times to on & off and sme times it will help ... Also there is a relay shut down fuse that keeps on ticking & will kill the battery if I dont pull it out . Someties I'd walk away and not hear it and a few hours later it comes on by it's self .. I swear the thing is haunted . I want to sell it because I have 5 other cars and trucks and though it is good riding nice condition I do not want to pass this known problem on to someone else .. Any comments would be helpful ... I am pretty sure it has got to be an eletrictial problem of some sort ... 1 Answer

ive got a 2002 3.5 v6 es dodge intrepid and this morning when i went to start it it cranked over breifly but as soon as i give it a little gas the thing shut's off. the oil light has been coming on lately when i put the ignition in standby mode right b4 i start it and it ding's. i have replaced the battery, the coolant reservoir, and the thermostat all in the last 6 mo.'s and i have read somewhere that there could be air in the coolant system and to bleed that out and refill with fresh coolant. also maybe an oil change? could this be a pump issue, or maybe a head? the manual says do an oil change every 3000 mi.'s so that is due. it has recently began to turn cold outside and im thinking that that is what has brought on this problem. also, i noticed that the coolant reservoir was practically empty and that is why i thought maybe air had gotten in the pipes and jimmy'd something on the block resulting in a non-start due to the cold weather. any suggestion's? 3 Answers

I am looking at buying a new Chevy Equinox AWD. It comes with a 4 cycle engine. I have been driving an Impala for 13 yrs with a V6. I can get a V6 in this Equinox for an extra $1,500. I know a V6 will bring the gas mileage down some. I am torn about whether I should or not. The dealer says the 4 cycle is plenty of motor. I have had a lot of people say get the V6 because the 4 cycle doesn't have enough oomph when trying to accelerate quickly. Im not going to be pulling things or driving in mtns. Just city and highway driving. When I took it out on the highway it might sound different from my car on acceleration but it does seem to have enough power to do that. Please help. I don't know what to do. 7 Answers
