WHY DO I NEED A PASSWORD FOR MY ACCOUNT????

I have just tried to save a car that i like but i have to sign in.I can't remember my
password but the question is why do i need a password there is nothing secret
on my account just cars that i would like to save

The password is to prevent someone from manipulating your account.
