Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am having trouble removing the rear wheels from my 1963 Comet.  They keep hitting the fender panels and I have to squeeze the wheel through and it rubs quite a bit.  There must be an easier way.

Are you jacking up the frame of the body so that the wheel drops down?

You know what, I think I'm jacking from axle/differential. I didn't think that should make a difference. I needed to do both rear brakes so I thought it was easier.
