Can Cargurus act as an escrow?

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I have a potential buyer  who needs a bit more time to raise all the money
needed to purchase my car. Could he deposit what he has and it be held
towards the car purchase. If he defaults, does not buy the car for any reason,
he would lose some of his deposit. The amount to be agreed upon prior.
