Retirement and selling a car

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

Hello:

I will be retiring in December and my wife works a few days a month. We will
only need a single car after my retirement. We have  two cars, both paid for.
The cars are a 2013 Infiniti G37 and the other is a 2014 Dodge Charger R/T
with a Hemi. Both are is good condition and have been maintained
religiously. I have a pre-paid maintenance plan on the Charger until 2024.
The Infiniti has one with a year left. Is it better to keep one of the cars or
trade them both in on a new vehicle (2020 Honda Civic Hatchback) and try to
pay for the new car with the current value of both? We hope to make a
decision in December.
Thank you. My email address is wbaethge2@gmail.com.

I can't say what is better for you but the Charger will most likely end up having problems that could be expensive to repair. Chargers are not nearly reliable as a Japanese car. Check car values but I doubt you could sell both of them for enough to buy a new Civic. How many miles on the two cars? PS. Take down your email address!
