I have a 1994 saturn sl1 would i be able to pull the motor and put it in 2000 saturn sl2

They are different engines, the SL2 had the DOHC. So you would need to pull the whole drivetrain, meaning the engine, transmission and wiring harness, and most probably the ECM and other bits. It's best to find a tutorial of someone who did the swap. Your easiest swap to get the car back on the road is replace with another engine from a SL1.
