pricing adjustments done by cargurus

I was at a car dealership and the saleman told me that the prices on cargurus
was automatically adjusted based on availability of vehicles (among other
factors) and was not done directly by the dealership.  Is this correct?

The IMV goes up and down depending on the cars for sale. The dealer is BSing you as they set their prices, not CG's.
